SCADA Alarm Notification Program — Effective September 28, 2026
Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Brothers Petroleum, LLC collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Brothers Petroleum SCADA Alarm Notification Program (the "Program") described in our SMS Terms and Conditions.
Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to operate the Program: the Recipient's name, mobile phone number, job role or alarm assignment, consent and opt-in/opt-out records, and message delivery logs (date, time, message content, and delivery status). Message content consists of equipment and facility status information generated by our SCADA system and does not contain personal information about Recipients beyond what is needed to route the message.
How We Use Information
Information is used solely to deliver operational alarm and status notifications, manage alarm call-out and on-call assignments, maintain consent and opt-out records, troubleshoot message delivery, and meet legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations.
No Sharing of Mobile Information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We share information only with service providers that are necessary to deliver Program messages (such as our SMS gateway provider, ClickSend, and wireless carriers), who may use it only to provide those services to us, and where required by law, regulation, or legal process.
Data Retention
We retain Program information for as long as a Recipient is enrolled and thereafter as needed to maintain consent records, satisfy legal or regulatory requirements, and resolve disputes, after which it is deleted or de-identified.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect Program information, including access controls on our SCADA and notification systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your Choices
You may opt out of Program messages at any time by replying STOP, and you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your Program information (subject to legal recordkeeping requirements) by contacting us.
Children
The Program is intended only for adult employees and authorized contractors and is not directed to anyone under 18.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision.
